Is there a cash discount for paying tuition in advance?
We currently offer a $200 (3%) discount for paying tuition in advance.

Are books included with Tuition?
All textbooks for classes as well as student workbooks are included in tuition each year.  Novels are not included but are the property of the students.

What other costs are associated with SMLCA?
Field trips and specialty lunches. We also ask that our families help clean the school 2 days a year per student or pay a cleaning fee of $125 per student.

What is TK or Transitional Kindergarten?
We now offer a transitional kindergarten for children that will be 5 or turning 5 soon after school begins and may not be entirely ready for kindergarten, either socially or academically. It gives children the opportunity to be in a full day (or half-day) program to work on their basic academic and social skills but not the pressured pace of kindergarten. If a student in the TK program progresses to the next level, they can transition into kindergarten. The purpose is to help students get a strong basic foundation before getting into the rigorous curriculum and pace of kindergarten but not be in a position to be “held back” (or fail) and continue to move forward in their education, building on success.
