SMLCA Cleaning duties etc.

Monday mornings – empty trash from previous evening.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday afternoons (can start at 2:30)

light cleaning – empty trash, including trash cans in the girl’s bathroom stalls, vacuum, if needed, wipe bathrooms counters and toilets, wipe kitchen counter, empty coffee pot, mop, if needed.

Wednesday & Friday (should be done in the afternoon prior to 5 PM)

deep cleaning – empty trash, including girl’s stalls, thoroughly clean all bathrooms (two large and two small) mop/or vacuum all classrooms, clean windows on doors, wipe all classroom tables, mop and wipe counters in kitchen, Friday, clean out refrigerator/freezer of open food

MOVE the water bottle off the holder. Water bottle goes in office, in the back corner with the others. Holder goes in the closet (I will try to remember to have one of the students to this at end of day.)

Supplies:

Gloves – bin under office desk

Large trash bags to collect all trash – bin under office desk

small & medium trash bags for waste baskets – bin under office desk

toilet bowl cleaner and brush – underneath bathroom sink (either boys or girls)

or cleaner in top kitchen cabinet, left of refrigerator

mops located in kitchen – various kinds (empty waste basket can be use as bucket)

Clorox cleaner (spray), Windex (spray), Clorox (wipes), dish detergent – top kitchen cabinet

vacuum cleaner – empty bags in closet

Clean rags on supply shelf in kitchen cabinet, paper towels in bin

Please replace cleaning supplies as needed or advise Kay McCoy

Key for closet is in bin. Please lock the closet when you leave and place the key back in the bin.
