We will be working on both the long and short sound in addition to handwriting. We will also be practicing a Letter Song for all the letters of the alphabet and a Short Vowel Song. I am hoping we can have a copy of our songs available for children to be able to practice at home. We are “stretching out” words to be able to hear each of the letter sounds individually. We will also be working on rhyming words over the next several weeks.
