Our Bible story this week is “The Prodigal Son”. Our memory verse is Proverbs 22:6, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Phonics
Our sight words: come, two, play, down, said Our spelling words: fed, net, yes, bed, led
Our poems for this week are “Little Boy Blue” and “The Little Bird”. Please continue to work with your children on their handwriting.
Math
Please continue to practice counting to 100 by 1′s, 5′s, and 10′s. Also, please continue to have your children practice their number writing.
Social Studies
We will hopefully be finishing up our US Symbols books this week. They will come home as soon as they are completed.
